Franklin County Arts Guild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts and fostering emerging fine artists and craftspeople through community exposure, networking, education and interaction with other artists.

The Franklin County Arts Guild annually provides a scholarship for a promising high school senior planning to study art or art education at the university level.

The Guild sponsors the annual Sweet Tooth Theater, a performance by a musical act accompanied by coffee and dessert. Proceeds from the Sweet Tooth Theater help fund the art scholarship.

The Arts Guild also provides local artists an opportunity to exhibit and sell their works through its gallery, The Artisan Depot, located at 201 Cumberland Street East in downtown Cowan.
