Every year Sweet Tooth Theater offers a wide variety of desserts ranging from cakes and pasties to chocolate fountain and fudge; all donated by area restaurants, businesses and Arts Guild Members.
Here's two of our favorite recipies that have featured in past Sweet Tooth Theaters, as well as in the cookbook we offered in 2006...
Pecan Pralines with Bourbon

Baked Nuts, submitted by Ray Torstenson
- 2 cups peanuts
- 2 cups walnuts
- 2 cups pecans
- 6 Tablespoons margarine
- 2-1/2 teaspoons salt
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Cook peanuts with 2 tbsp. margarine and 1 tsp. salt for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Add remining ingredients and cook 45 more minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour into a large bowl lined with a couple paper towels. Eat and enjoy. |
